It is a very difficult time when a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, not forgetting that men can be diagnosed with the disease albeit very rarely, but even worse when she has seemingly defeated the cancer only to discover it has returned. When it does recur it is mostly in the time frame of three to five years after the all-clear.
